How do Diablo 4 affixes work?
Affix tiers
Diablo 4 items have 3 tiers of affixes:
- Regular affixes: found on items of all rarities, except Normal (0 affixes); account for the vast majority of affixes found on items
- Legendary affixes: 1 per Legendary item; are 2-3x more powerful than a Regular affix; can be extracted by the Occultist and stored in a Legendary Aspect for use in upgrading another item
- Unique affixes: 1 per Unique item; by far the most powerful affix; has a star icon, like Legendary
