Waypoints in Diablo 4

Map Waypoints for fast travel

Continuing the tradition from past Diablo games, Diablo 4's Sanctuary will contain Waypoints that allow players to instantly travel to other Waypoints within their current Region or other Regions.

Waypoints are located in:

• Towns
• Cleared Strongholds

Unlocking Waypoints

Town Waypoints

To unlock a Waypoint in a Town, players simply need to locate the Waypoint (usually in the middle of the Town) and click on it.

Stronghold Waypoints

Stronghold Waypoints require a lot more effort, and only appear after completing the Stronghold's main objective (e.g., defeat a Boss). They too must be located (usually close to where the Boss fight ends) and clicked on to activate.

Town Portal feature

While Diablo 4 doesn't have Town Portal Scrolls items, it does have a Town Portal feature. While out in the world or in a Dungeon, players can press the 'T' keybind to return to their current Region's capital (e.g., Kyovashad) or select an unlocked Waypoint on the map. Note that this process takes a few seconds and can be interrupted if an enemy attacks.

Fractured Peaks Waypoint locations

The Fractured Peaks contains 7 Waypoints conveniently spread across the Region.
