Deluxe Edition of Diablo 4

The Digital Deluxe Edition is the middle Diablo 4 offering, sandwiched between the Standard and Ultimate. It's available on:

• PC/Windows
• Xbox One, S, and X
• PlayStation 4 and 5

The Deluxe version's logo shows a gray banner beside Lilith, whereas the Standard shows red, and the Ultimate shows orange.

What's the Deluxe Edition's price?

The cost of the Deluxe Edition is $89.99 USD, and includes early access to Diablo 4's release (get a 4 day head start) and additional cosmetic items. Blizzard's pricing structure is as follows:

• Standard Edition: $69.99 USD
• Deluxe Edition: $89.99 USD
• Ultimate Edition: $99.99 USD

Does the Deluxe Edition have a physical box version?

No, the Deluxe Edition, like Diablo 4's other two editions, are digital-only.

The only Diablo 4 product that has a physical box is the Collector's Box, which has a handful of (physical) collectibles and doesn't include the actual game.

Is the Deluxe Edition's cost the same across all platforms?

Yes, the Deluxe Editon's price is the same regardless of the platform you purchase it on (i.e, $89.99 on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox).

What does the Deluxe Edition include?

Diablo 4 for Battle.net

This is the Diablo 4 base game. Blizzard makes clear there's no offline mode, and that players are required to be logged into Battle.net to play the game:

Light Bearer mount (pre-order only)

Light Bearer is a player-rideable cosmetic mount given to players that pre-order any edition. It's decked out in red and black armor, called Caparison of Faith (included). Players will gain access to it when they unlock the mounts feature.

Open Beta early access (pre-order only)

One of the perks of pre-ordering any edition is early access to Open Beta, which will span at least 2 days. No need to cross your fingers over whether you'll get in.

Amalgam of Rage mount (for WoW players)

World of Warcraft players can enjoy riding the Amalgam of Rage, a hideous beast from Diablo 4's storyline. As far as we know, you can't ride the Amalgam of Rage in Diablo 4 (although maybe a boss can?).

Inarius Wings cosmetic and Murloc pet (for D3 players)

Diablo 3 players can show off a new Murloc pet while adorned in Inarius's wings.

Umber Winged Darkness set (for Immortal players)

Also, those playing Diablo Immortal on Mobile receive a full cosmetic set with a menacing look, called: Umber Winged Darkness.

Temptation mount & Hellborn Carapace mount armor

This mount and mount armor are unique to the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions. In the picture below, we believe Blizzard equipped the Temptation mount with the Hellborn Carapace armor, the latter inspired by the fires of Hell.

4 days of early access at release

Perhaps the most compelling reason to get at least the Deluxe verison is the ability to play the game four days early. Note that this won't provide an unfair advantage in Diablo 4's first season, which is projected to begin a few weeks after launch.

Unlock Premium Seasonal Battle Pass

A Premium Pass provides players with more unique and season-themed cosmetic items from the game's Cosmetics Shop. Seasonal items are available for one season only and then gone. Also, they're for looks only and don't provide extra power.

Does buying on one platform unlock all platforms?

No, if you wish to play on multiple platforms, you must buy the game separately on each of those platforms. For example, if you want to play on the PC and Xbox, you'd purchase both the PC and Xbox versions.

Cross-generation for consoles

Some players may have multiple generations of the same platform (e.g., PS4 and PS5) and want to play Diablo 4 on each of them. These players would only have to buy the game once, for that platform (e.g., PlayStation).
