Religious group lost in evil
We only know of the Cultist monster family's existence via a single piece of artwork from Blizzard's Press Center. The artwork shows a group of humans, clad in gold and maroon, and wearing skulls as face masks in anticipation of a dark ritual.
The hooded leader of the Cultists, who has a symbol carved into his chest, is about to perform an evil custom on a (soon-to-be?) corpse. He has dozens of his obedient servants standing behind him.
Known Cultist spawn areas
From the filename of the aforementioned artwork (Scosglen_The_Cultists.jpg), it's safe to assume that the Cultists can be found in Scosglen. Given that Scosglen is known to be the land of the Druid people, we don't know if the Cultists are an evil offshoot of the Druids or a completely separate group.
We also know that Scosglen is home to the Drowned monster family, so there may be interactions between the two groups. If not, the Drowned may operate in northern Scosglen, near the coast, while the Cultists stick to the south.
TOPCultist weapons
Although we don't know the names and types of Cultist family members, in the artwork, they can be seen wielding the following weapons:
- Two-handed Halberds with symbols
- Kris (i.e., wavy Dagger)
