Platinum in Diablo 4

Premium Currency for Cosmetics Shop

Platinum (formerly Palladium from Beta) is Diablo 4's Premium Currency used to purchase in-game items from the Cosmetics Shop. It's account-based, meaning it can be used for any of a player's characters, and can't be traded. The cosmetic items it's used to purchase offer no power boost.

Buying Platinum Currency

Using the "Platinum" tab on the Shop screen, players can convert their local currency into Platinum.

Acquiring Platinum through Season Pass

In addition to buying Platinum directly from the Cosmetics Shop, players can acquire it 2 ways through the Season Pass feature:

  • Advancing in the free tier of the Season Pass: Those participating in a new Season are auto-enrolled in the free tier of Season Pass feature. As players complete objectives, they'll be rewarded with Platinum Premium Currency (without having to pay real money). Note that it likely takes a lot of effort to earn a meaningful amount of Platinum.
  • Purchasing the Premium Season Pass: When players buy a Premium Season Pass ($10), they're given an amount of Platinum to spend in the Shop.

We'll update this space with more details when the first Season launches.
