Wildlife in Diablo 4

Types of wildlife

Sanctuary has around 30 types of wildlife roaming around for players to find, some of which are native to specific Regions. Wildlife outside of Towns can be killed, sometimes happening inadvertently as players swing wildly at monsters.

Cats

Cats, like Dogs, are often inside buildings. Unlike Dogs, though, players can't pet them.

Dogs

Dogs are found in towns, including inside buildings, like in the screenshot below. Beyond receiving a tail wag and kneel from the dog, other rewards are unknown (regardless, it's fun!).
