Skeletons have been around since Diablo 1 and will return in Diablo 4. Members of this monster family are slow-moving and skilled in a variety of weapons and spell-casting abilities.

Skeleton monster types
The following Skeleton types have been seen in Diablo 4 gameplay footage and screenshots released by Blizzard:

Skeleton (regular)
The most common and weakest member of the skeleton family. These use a variety of weapons and slowly move towards you. -
Skeleton Archer
These skeletons wield crossbows, attacking from afar, while regular Skeletons move towards you. -
Skeleton Ballista
A ballista (i.e., large bow) covered in skulls and bones that shoots a powerful projectile towards the player. -
Skeleton Two Hand
A type of skeleton utilizing two-handed weapons, like large axes. These do more damage than their more common regular Skeleton relatives.
